In the cup
The cup opens with jasmine and delicate floral notes, moving into sweet peach and a juicy bergamot acidity. As it cools, the acidity transforms into a lingering note of sweet green grape. It's a delicate cup, and we recommend a resting period of at least four weeks.
About the bean
Representing 10 percent of Gesha Village's total farm production, these exquisite coffees are complex in flavour and exceptionally rare. The Rarities are the top coffees Gesha Village produces outside of their auction lots, and they're frequently chosen for competition by internationally competing baristas. Freshly harvested cherries are pulped and dry-fermented for 12 hours, then thoroughly washed to remove the mucilage.
